Sparrow Tools converts bank statements entirely inside your web browser. The PDF files you choose are never uploaded to our servers and we never see their contents.
We do not ask for an account. A small counter of how many statements you converted today, your language choice, and your license key if you buy a pass or Pro, are kept in your browser's local storage on your device.
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, time) for security and is not linked to any statement data. If analytics are enabled they record anonymous page views only.
Payments are handled by Creem, our merchant of record, under its own privacy policy. To activate a purchase, your browser sends the license key and a random browser ID to our payment API. We store a hash of the key, payment references, the activation time and browser instance references to check access and process refunds. Your PDF, its text, and its password are never included in these requests.
